Since the dawn of the pandemic, the Food and Beverage industry has witnessed a massive increase in demand for food and grocery delivery services as customers isolate in the safety of their homes. In Thailand alone, around 20,0000 small- and medium-sized businesses signed up to food delivery platforms and the number of food deliveries grew by 150 percent in the first half of 2020.
However, this privilege comes with its drawbacks, namely the increasing amount of disposable plastic consumption.
